Robert E. Potrzebowski, Jr.

Rob Potrzebowski is the Majority Shareholder and President of the Kohn Law Firm S.C. He attended Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Mr. Potrzebowski received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
As a member of the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, Mr. Potrzebowski previously served on its Education and State Government Affairs committees. He was also a charter member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, as well as a founding member of the Wisconsin Creditor's Rights Association, having served on the latter association's original Board of Directors and currently serving as its Treasurer.
Mr. Potrzebowski has spoken before many local and national associations, including those referenced above, as well as the Wisconsin Government Finance Officers Association and the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin. He has also served as an instructor for Wisconsin's Municipal Clerks and Treasurers Institute.

Matthew J. Richburg

Matt Richburg is the firm's Managing Shareholder. Mr. Richburg attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Public Relations. He received his J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and has been certified as a Creditor's Rights Specialist by the American Board of Certification since 2005.
Mr. Richburg is a member of the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, currently serving on its State Government Affairs Committee. He is the President of the Wisconsin Creditors' Rights Association and serves on its Board of Directors. Mr. Richburg has lectured on The Wisconsin Consumer Act and on various retail and commercial collection topics.

David A. Ambrosh

Dave Ambrosh is a shareholder, handling complex retail and commercial matters for the firm, as well as appellate work. He is a graduate of Ripon College, where he earned a B.A. in Psychology. Mr. Ambrosh received his law degree from the Marquette University Law School.
Mr. Ambrosh has lectured on various debt collection issues. He is admitted to the U. S. District Court, in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and is a member of the Commercial Law League of America.

Jason Hermersmann is a shareholder whose practice is currently concentrated in the area of subrogation and other tort-based collection and litigation. He earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his J.D. at the Marquette University Law School.
Mr. Hermersmann is admitted to the U. S. District Court, in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. He is also a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.

Meghan MacKelly is the supervising attorney of the firm's post-judgment practice group, which handles garnishments, supplemental hearings, judgment liens and other such matters. She attended Indiana University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Management. Mrs. MacKelly received her J.D. from the Marquette University Law School.

Robert W. Kohn
Retired
Bob Kohn is the founder of the Kohn Law Firm S.C. He is retired from active practice in Wisconsin and currently serves as a mediator in California from his Santa Barbara office.
Mr. Kohn attended Marquette University and received his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He has been an active member of many local and national debt collection associations, including the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, where he served on that group's Board of Directors.
Mr. Kohn has been a contributor to numerous periodicals, has authored books on Wisconsin collection law and is a frequent lecturer on debt collection topics for various professional associations. In addition, he has lectured at the University of Wisconsin Law School and the Marquette University Dental School. He is also a mediator and arbitrator, as certified by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
The firm recognized his 50 years of practice in 2010.
